Coming to the Cottage Tea

I ordered this tea primarily for my daughter who is a huge fan of the show. She got the reference right away and loved it! The tea is delicious, too!

I've been meaning to send you my thoughts on your new Coming to the Cottage Tea. It is amazing. I love the smokey undertone and since I normally indulge in your green teas this is a wonderful black tea alternative. I will most definitely be ordering more and hope this tea makes it to the annual list not just seasonal. Cheers!

Smells like you are at the cottage. Very smoky flavoring which I personally like.

Not really a fan of this one

I am sure this showed up in my sm algorithm because HR has been all over it. Why now? Why not before? I still don't know but maybe because Pride Month. I'm so glad it did!

I hate artificial maple flavor, and I am a huge fan of smoky teas (wish I could still get a decent Lapsang that isn't insanely expensive. The maple is strong enough to be the forward flavor and doesn't leave an artificial aftertaste. The smoky comes in later, but the maple is still holding so you get both at the same time. I would like the tea itself to be a tiny bit more bold, but the blend as a whole is absolutely wonderful.

I looked at this because of the name, which showed up in my feeds because of the source of the name. It sounded really good so I bought it to try and I had to come back to get more because it is limited edition and I will drink a lot of this. Thanks to a little Canadian TV series bringing my attention to a book series I had already discussed with my book club but hadn't read, and now it connects me to wonderful tea??? Talk about winning the cup! :D

. . and it did not disappoint!! Smokey with a hit of sweetness, so comforting and delish! The aroma is definitely reminiscent of cottage bonfires and The Tragically Hip ;)

I love Coming to the Cottage. It's very different and the smoke flavor creeps up on you after the maple. Great Canadian tea!

This is my go-to tea when I can't decide what I am feeling. It never lets me down. It has a great smoky flavour that is not too strong but very tasty. Love this tea!

If you want to try ANY tea at all and you're on the fence, choose this one!! They advertise it as sweet maple with a hint of smoke, but I actually find it the opposite. It's quite smokey with just a hint of maple, and it's absolutely divine! It's also incredibly pretty, the tea itself looks like a sizzling bonfire right inside the bag! If this tea is still available (it said limited time only when I bought it) seriously grab a bag and give it a try!

Omg I LOVE this one. I very much love earthy vibes and campfires so this was great for me. It’s very smokey so if you don’t like even a hint of that this won’t work for you but if you do then buckle up cause wow, it’ll transport you to a campfire in a secluded wood ❤️

I liked the hint of maple flavoring. The Russian caravan smoke reminded me of campfires at the cottage.

I know the bag says ‘a whisper’ but it reminded me of summers in NH. Lovely! A great morning brew! Glad I tried it.

Lapsang souchong is one of my very favorite teas so pairing it with maple in this tea was sooo nice! Both warm and comforting flavors that compliment each other perfectly.

Great tea with a good amount of smokiness. Perfect when sweetened with maple syrup.

This has become my favourite go-to black tea! I love, love, love it!

Coming to the Cottage is different. The smokey flavor is different. But after my first cup l, it became something I CRAVE now.

Great, unique flavor-- obviously complimentary with some maple syrup per the theme.

Exactly as described. The only way to make it better would be to drink it with Ilya himself.

Loved the smell of this black tea, with rich maple notes, unfortunately the sweetness gets lost and there was an overwhelming taste of smokiness, too much for my liking. If you like that flavour profile then you'll love this one.

LOVE this tea. I am usually more of a coffee person, but wanted to try this Heated Rivalry themed one and it's just so tasty! I am a tea convert - just ordered 3 more bags of this. Really unique and delicious black tea!

‘Coming to the cottage’ was such a cool flavour! Who would’ve thought to put the two flavours together! I also ordered ‘coconut sky’ DELICIOUS!

A little too Smokey for my taste. I need to try it as a latte to tone down the campfire taste.
