TEA RECIPES / HOT GINGER TURMERIC TONIC RECIPE
Tea is one of the best beverages to consume when you’re feeling under the weather, especially hydrating herbal teas. This one harnesses the natural powers of Turmeric and ginger to create a hot tonic packed with flavour and health benefits! Turmeric, part of the ginger family, is an amazing natural anti-inflammatory, it’s bright yellow appearance makes it unmistakable. These anti-inflammatory properties bring relief to a number of ailments including; stiff joints, easing muscle aches, soothing irritated tissue, relieving headaches and migraines.

3 tsp Tealish ginger herbal tea + 8 oz hot water - steep for 5 mins stirring occasionally
½ tsp turmeric + 8 oz hot water - whisk until blended
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ tsp cinnamon
1 ½ tsp honey (or to taste)
Steep 3 tsp of our Ginger herbal tea in 8oz boiling water for 5 mins. While the ginger is steeping, whisk ½ tsp of turmeric into 8oz hot water. Remove ginger after 5 mins and add your turmeric mixture. Stir in 2 tablespoons lemon juice, ½ tsp cinnamon and sweeten with 1-2 tsp honey! We used Beekeeper Naturals Wildflower honey, we also recommend adding Bee Pollen or BeePowered to help ward off the effects of seasonal allergies.
