There are several regions of production on the island, ranging in elevation from 3000 to 8000ft, each one producing teas with different and unique characteristics. Generally the tea gardens at higher elevations produce superior teas due to pristine growing conditions. Nuwara Eliya is the highest region of Sri Lanka and produces incredible teas!
